Stage 1: Drawing Design
The customer's leader at this stage, the carbon fiber manipulator in this period is still a "substitute" in concept, that is to say, before it really comes out, it is usually a metal manipulator. In terms of structure and function, the carbon fiber manipulator must not only completely replace the original metal manipulator, but also far exceed the value that the original manipulator can reflect.
At this stage, the mechanical designer of the application side should fully understand the material properties of the carbon fiber composite material and the basic manufacturing process of the carbon fiber manipulator, and make a new design for the carbon fiber manipulator based on the application of the original metal manipulator.
Stage 2: Proofing and Experimentation
The customer's design drawings may not be put into practice. When the carbon fiber manipulator manufacturer gets the design drawings, it will conduct in-depth communication and discussion with the application side on the production method and final performance requirements of the manipulator. On the premise of meeting the performance requirements put forward by the application side, simplify the manufacturing process as much as possible, and adopt a more realistic and lower cost manufacturing scheme.
In the proofing stage, our company will make a very small amount of samples according to the plan agreed by both parties, and deliver them to customers for relevant performance testing. In this regard, in addition to conventional basic components such as tubes and plates, carbon fiber manipulator manufacturers will not and cannot provide a performance test report for a specific product, because customized products have their specific application environment and performance requirements. The party undertakes the task of sample testing, some need to rely on third-party testing and identification, and some need to apply the samples to mechanical equipment and test them through field operation experiments.
Phase 3: Optimization and Adjustment
If the design of the carbon fiber manipulator is relatively complex or the application requirements are high, the application party and the manufacturer can also optimize the design of the sample and adjust the manufacturing process according to the specific experimental results. For customers, how to break the original design mode of metal manipulators and give carbon fiber manipulators a new design concept is very important; The key to success is to control the details and move closer to the requirements of the application side step by step.
Stage Four: Mass Production
When the sample finally passes the test of the application side, it will enter the mass production stage. The problems faced at this stage mainly include two aspects: one is how to minimize production costs; the other is how to ensure product quality and shorten delivery cycle in mass production.
